Sport in the Port 10KM (Sunday 15^th)

Three Buckley Runners competed in a very large field (621 runners), really good performances from all three: -

Mike Austin 29th 38.36

Steve Bellis 43^rd in 40.22 (2^nd MV55)

Hayley Evans 192^nd in 47.29 (8^th female!)

Râs Pedol Cwm Pennant (Saturday 14^th)

Three Buckley Runners in this classic fell race covering 16.8miles with 5905ft of climbing. There are plenty of excellent photos – follow the link on WFRA Website

Simon Roberts 8^th in 2.55.10

Steve Toogood 41^st in 3.29.06

Moel y Gamelin

Three Buckley runners here too (bit of a pattern it appears) for another classic fell race. A mere 9.5 miles this one with only 2,800 feet of climbing, starting and finishing at The Ponderosa on the Horseshoe Pass

Another win for Jez Brown in 74.31 (Nearly 5 minutes ahead of 2^nd place)

The Paul Stinton (Can’t find a time or a place)

Rob was 40^th= in a field of 41 in 2.36.40 having taken a bit of a detour but still got 1^st M65

Festivals

A few members missed training/competing to attend a very big Rock Festival and one Buckley member who was photographed by the Daily Post with a can of a well-known Australian brew in his hand at a festival in Wales!
