Members award

Just a reminder. I am collecting nominations for the annual members award. The award goes to a member of the club who has made a contribution to the club during the year but may not have been recognised through other awards. Nominations will be taken at the presentation, but if you want to you can send your nomination to me. You must explain in not more than 20 words why you want to nominate the person. It is not a vote, we look at the reasons, not the numbers.

Borders League Final Placings

On Wednesday evening the last round of the Border League season saw an excellent turnout by Buckley Runners. The men were 2nd on the night, so were the ladies.

At the presentation that followed we had a good haul of medals. The men were 2nd overall (nearly 1000 points behind Wirral). The ladies were 5th - in a very close result (Buckley 517, Wallasey 513, Chester Tri 511). We were 5^th in the veterans trophy.

Corndon fell race

Great performances by Simon E (8th) and John (52nd) in this new race over three peaks near Welshpool. Quality field, as this was a counter in at least three series.
