Sunrise Stroll

Fancy an early morning round Chester for charity?

The Hospice of the Good Shepherd at Backford is an amazing place. Anyone who has lost a loved one to cancer will understand how important what they do is. Pete Windell (our former President) spent many years in and out of the hospice. The support they gave him and his family is unmeasurable.
The club has continued to support the hospice in many ways since his death. We organised the Celyn Trail Races last year, and I ran in the "Run to Remeber" last month. I hope that we can continue to help them.
On May 3rd they are organising a 7 or 12 mile walk at 5 am. It would be great if a group of us could run it. The organisisers reckon we could start at 7 am and try to overtake everybody! Anybody fancy it. See the link below for more info.
Contact me if you fancy it. Rob.

  1. Which one are you doing Rob the 7 or 12? Fen & Chris.

  2. I fancy doing 12. But I am not convinced. It depens on what other people want to do. Rob.

  3. That would do us Rob, so............shall we say we'll do the dozen? with the obvious caveat that there are no gulleys!
    Take care
